Hello New Year

Nothing has happen for the month of January, just some much needed relaxing.

Mark will go in on Feb 5th to have his port checked out, he has had some problems with it not wanting too work right. If they find any problems on the inside they will take him straight into surgery and replace it. Then February is Mark’s three month work up and see Dr Zangari. On the 12th we go for a MRI and hope that this time we can see if the tumor has shrunk any and how that T-5 vertebra looks. He will do all his labs and tests then on the 19th we will see Dr Z.

Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that he is still in remission.

Congratulations to Brittany for finishing school YAY!!

Carlos will turn one on the 16th of this month. Grandpa’s little buddy

Congratulations to Brooke’s sister, Brandi and husband they had a beautiful baby girl.

The baby is doing very well. She went back to the doctor and was down to eight pounds. Brooke

Hi Dianna, I'm writing about the series the Myeloma Beacon is writing on caregivers of multiple myeloma patients. Alyssa was orginally writing the article, and I'm told she emailed you asking if you'd be willing to share your story. I'm not sure if you responded or not, but Alyssa is no longer writing for the Beacon so the article has been reassigned to me. If you are interested in sharing your thoughts, please let me know (funmi.adewale@light-kr.com) and I will get back to you with some questions by email. Thanks for your time!

Best,
Funmi
