Another Day

Mark continues to be very weak and he tires easily. His potassium level is still very low as his body is robbing his potassium to look for energy. Dianna will be giving him a potassium IV for the next 8 hours. He is still experiencing bone pain and most likely will for about another 48 hours.

Mark and Dianna will get a break tomorrow and then go back to the hospital on Wednesday for labs. Their appointment with Dr. Zangari is on Friday.

Thanks again for leaving comments for them on the blog. Please be sure to leave your name along with your comment. (Whoever wished Shane a "Happy Birthday," please let us know who you are so he can thank you properly.)

What a relief it was for me to beable to finally talk with you last night Mark. I pray as each day goes by that your pain will be less and that you will start to get stronger and not tire so easily. When the flowers bloom, I was told, that you would feel better. That message was for me, so it must mean, the flowers in my yard. I am watching them closely. I love you Son. Again I thank you Dianna for the loving and excellent care you have given our son.

I have been following your progress and am so happy for the good news. What a wonderful time to be alive to witness the miracle of modern medicine and the strength and determination of an amazing family. You are in my prayers and I know that through the grace of our loveing Heavenly Father, things will be ok. Thank you for allowing us to share in your journey. We love you! Mark and Dianna: THANK GOD for miracles. I am thrilled to hear this news! You're on the right track Mark. Hang in there! You too Dianna. Spring isn't far away and a 2-month break sounds wonderful - definitely something to look forward to :-) Hold that thought. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers daily. Much love, Nancy and Uncle Jim

Hi Mark and Dianna. I hope you are both doing well on this VERY snowy day and that you didn't have to drive to SLC in the storm. I'm looking forward to a status report after Mark's appointment on Friday. Every day when I pray for Mark, I visualize an auto gauge that goes from 0 to 10,000 as a symbol of his white cell count. With every thought and prayer, the needle on the gauge moves closer to 10,000. I know your body is putting all of its energy into healing and IT'S WORKING. GO MARK!!!!!!!!!! Love to you all, Nancy and Uncle Jim
