Ready for the Transplant!

Mark & Dianna met with Dr. Zangari today. While he's still being very cautious, he gave Mark the go-ahead to start the transplant process. However, instead of four days of chemo, Mark will be given one day of a chemo drug called Melphalan.

Mark is still scheduled for the stem cell transplant on Tuesday, March 10th.

Wow! Very impressive blog--good job.

I recall taking melphalan too almost two years to the date. It's powerful.

Be sure our thoughts and prayers are with you as you continue this journey. I've been dealing with multiple myeloma for two and a half years. I believe the journey is smoother today with better medical techniques.

Keep positive. I recall staying away from crowds, afraid to catch anything, and wondering what next. We still carry a little bottle of hand sanitizer every place we go as a precaution.

Blessings.
