The Side Effects of Chemo
Unfortunately the news isn't so good today. Mark has been throwing up almost constantly and has lost about 15 pounds in 3 days. Dianna took him to the Huntsman today for fluids and medication through his IV. Mark is so sick that Home Health will be bringing IV supplies to Dianna at home so that Mark can receive saline and his meds in the evening. Mark will also go to the Huntsman every day for fluids and medication until he gets over the nausea.

Honey, I guess we knew this was coming. I know it is hard for you to feel so awful. Just be thankful you don't have nine months of it and a big belly to boot. But guess what? There is great rewards to having a big belly, you end up with a great kid to share your life with and that is what life is all about, our kids, our family and out dear friends. Be tuff sweetie, this will be over soon.
HANG IN THERE MARK!!!! I know that nausea is horrible; definitely not a fun way to lose weight. Dad and I are praying for you. Take a deep breath and focus on the positive: no infection and you are almost over the hump. The worst is behind you. Look forward to the healing process and the DUNES! Love you Mark. This has got to be one of the hardest things you've got to go through in life. Diana your an angel, its got to be tough seeing someone you love go through all this. I saw Lynette stand by my brothers side through his cancer, and I can say she was an angel too. Mark hopefully the nausea will subside soon and the side effects won't be too bad. Remember God is on your side and is with you all the way through this. Love, Aunt Sue
